A technologically advanced African civilisation governed by ancestral law and the intricate rituals of royal power, Lagelu stands at the intersection of futuristic innovation and monarchical authority.
But its foundations are beginning to fracture.
The Immortal King of Lagelu lies suspended between life and death, his mysterious condition threatening the divine order upon which the kingdom rests. As uncertainty grips the throne, rival ambitions emerge, loyalties are tested, and the power struggle threatens to unravel a civilisation built to endure.
In Lagelu, immortality comes at a cost. Power demands sacrifice. And the past is never truly buried.
Blending Afrofuturism, African mythology, royal intrigue, political conspiracy, and high-stakes action, LAGELU: The Kingdom on Four Hills presents a bold vision of African storytelling, where advanced technology and ancestral cosmology coexist, and the future of an extraordinary civilisation hangs in the balance.
