In Yoruba oral tradition, Lagelu is remembered as a formidable warrior from Ile-Ife, renowned to be the founder of Eba-Odan, an early settlement woven into the origin of Ibadan, one of West Africa's great historic cities.

Lagelu's story belongs to history, ours begins where history leaves off.

Lagelu: The Kingdom on Four Hills is not a retelling of the legend. Rather it is an Afro-futuristic re-imagining; a centre point where Yoruba cosmology, African history, ancestral memory, and sciene fiction converge....because here, we look to the past not to live in it, but to build futures worthy of it!

This is Africa, far beyond tomorrow!

The story

Peace is a fragile illusion. With the reigning King in a deathless coma, the kingdom hangs between succession and collapse. Trust is a luxury the royal bloodline can no longer afford. Brothers turn against brothers, alliances fracture, old rivalries wake.

As the heirs prepare for war, Lagelu stands on the edge of a glorious rebirth or total ruin. They have conquered the science of tomorrow and mastered the magic of yesterday. Neither will save them from each other.
